To use most of a small area, we moved the fridge to the pantry behind the kitchen. Moreover, to complement the high cathedral ceiling, we decided to build tall cabinetry in both the kitchen and pantry.
The client needed a classic design with all push-to-open cabinets without handles. To follow the style, we installed the same type of joinery in the laundry/pantry area.
The island, located in the centre of the space, divides the kitchen from the rest of the house. Waterfall ends on both sides of the island, complete its sleek design.
The unique detail that gives more character to this kitchen is a beautiful splashback with hexogen tiles. It is a wonderful offset to the rest of the kitchen’s linear elements.
As the space was relatively narrow, we needed to use our top planning skills to fit all elements required in this kitchen. Therefore, we needed to redesign the projects several times to create the most functional space, which resulted in this outstanding interior.
